My name is Donyale, pronounced "Don" like Donna and "Yale" like Harvard and Yale, just pop them together: DonYale. I'm the part-time project lead at Lumenesse & Co, which is a profit-for-purpose tourism consultancy delivered by Australia's South West, and the principal consultant at Plucky Media, a brand and marketing consultancy. I've worked in marketing since the first Google algorithm (that's 1998 in old money), making me a vintage marketer who has witnessed the birth and evolution of every major media channel we use today. I went to uni when I turned 30 and trained in Psychology. Cognitive psychology underpins almost every aspect of effective marketing, and it informs much of the brand development work I do.
